Our Pastor

Dr. Gabriel Rogers is the founder and senior pastor of Kingdom Christian Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Born in Middletown, Connecticut, Dr. Rogers is a devoted husband to Mrs. Stephanie Rogers and the proud father of four children—one daughter, Lauren, and three sons, Gabriel Jr., Christian, and Stephen.

Dr. Rogers earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, graduating cum laude from Johnson C. Smith University. He went on to graduate with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he earned both a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in Counseling.

A distinguished counselor, educator, and mental health professional, Dr. Rogers formerly served as a Clinical Coordinator for Carolinas Healthcare System, providing clinical supervision to mental health professionals. He is the former Vice Chair of the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and has served on the Advisory Committee of Carolinas HealthCare System’s Pastoral Care Division.

Dr. Rogers has also dedicated himself to higher education, serving as an adjunct professor at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in the Department of Counseling and Psychology, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the Department of Counseling, and Wingate University, where he taught psychology and research courses. His professional experience extends to the National Football League through its Players Assistance Program, where he provided counseling and training services to athletes, coaches, and administrative staff.

Currently, Dr. Rogers is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in private practice with The Angel Gabriel Company, PLLC, a family-owned business, where he provides individual, couples, and family therapy. He is also a published author whose work explores themes of faith, divine healing, biblical prosperity, morality and godly character, Spirit-filled living and deliverance.

In addition to his ministry and counseling career, Dr. Rogers brings extensive experience in real estate and construction. He is a licensed real estate broker in both North and South Carolina and is the owner of Kingdom Property Group, a boutique real estate firm.

Dr. Rogers is also a licensed General Contractor and the founder of The Kingdom Building Group, an organization dedicated to developing Kingdom-centered projects and advancing the work of God through real estate, construction, and community development.

While Dr. Rogers has achieved distinction across ministry, counseling, education, professional leadership, real estate, and entrepreneurship, he considers his greatest accomplishment to be the day he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He testifies that, in that moment, his life was forever changed for the better.

Deeply committed to fulfilling the Great Commission, Dr. Rogers is a passionate soul winner who places a strong emphasis on evangelism and discipleship within Kingdom Christian Church. He strives to pastor according to the biblical standards outlined in Titus 1:6–9 and is passionate about helping people discover their God-given purpose, reach their maximum potential, and grow in their relationship with Christ.

Through his ministry, professional service, teaching, and community engagement, Dr. Gabriel Rogers continues to devote his life to serving God and fulfilling his ministry assignment in the earth.
