About Us

The Story of Kingdom Christian Church

Kingdom Christian Church was established under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, with a vision and mission to promote the agenda of Jesus Christ throughout Charlotte, North Carolina and every place where our ministry is reached.

Our story began in the spring of 2010 when God commissioned Pastor Rogers to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ and advance the Kingdom of God throughout the city of Charlotte. After a season of prayer, preparation, and divine confirmation, that vision became a reality.

On Thursday, October 28, 2010, Kingdom Christian Church held its first Bible study in the lobby of The Angel Gabriel Company. Just three days later, on Sunday, October 31, we held our first worship service in the multipurpose room of Tuckaseegee Elementary School. More than 100 people gathered that morning, and Pastor Rogers delivered the inaugural message, “When God Gets the Glory.”

The Angel Gabriel Company served as the temporary home for our midweek Bible study. Within a year, however, the church had outgrown the space, and the Lord blessed us to partner with a local church to accommodate our continued growth.

Building the Church

From the beginning, Kingdom Christian Church has been committed to evangelism, Christian discipleship, and holistic Christian growth. The Lord gave our Pastor the concept of comprehensive Christianity – a discipleship model designed to nurture the whole person: spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially. As the Lord continued to add to the church, ministries were established to serve people at every stage of life and spiritual development, including married couples, singles, women, men, youth, and entrepreneurs.

Our commitment to the Great Commission extended beyond the walls of the church. We became actively involved in weekly evangelistic outreach to neighborhoods, abortion clinics, local shelters, and wherever the Gospel of Jesus Christ needed to be represented. God instructed our Pastor to establish relevant ministries that would serve people where they were, teach them His truth, equip them for His service, and empower them to fulfill their God ordained assignment in the earth.

“Boots on the Ground”

Four years after our first worship service, in the winter of 2014, the Lord spoke to Pastor Rogers and revealed that it was time to expand the vision and build.

After sharing this word with his wife, Pastor Rogers stepped forward in faith and began searching for land on which to build a house for the Lord. In the spring of 2014, God revealed 12 acres of land that would become the home of our current Charlotte campus.

Pastor Rogers adopted the phrase “Boots on the Ground” as a call for the church to prepare, engage, and move forward in faith. Performance and sustainability were added to our ministry focus as we equipped ourselves to build—not simply a facility, but a place where people could encounter God, grow in Christ, and become all He created them to be.

The Lord blessed us to acquire our main church campus in Charlotte, and on Sunday, November 13, 2016, we held our first worship service in our current building.

Through the financial support of our members and partners, the faithful stewardship of our Pastor and the provision of God, our main church campus was completely paid off in October 2023.

As the ministry continued to grow, so did the need for additional space for discipleship, fellowship, and community. In July 2020, through faith in God’s Word and faithful financial stewardship, we completed the Kingdom Community Building—debt free.

Changing Lives Beyond the Church

Our passion for discipleship is rooted in a desire to see men and women discover and live out their identity, purpose, and highest potential in Christ.

In May 2023, we built The Grace House, a debt-free home designed to provide support and opportunity for women and unwed mothers to help them catch up and win in life.

In December 2025, we expanded that vision by purchasing the Man Up Home, a home dedicated to helping men overcome obstacles, move forward, earn their trophies, and win in life. On the same day we also closed on the Kingdom Hospitality House, a home dedicated to leadership training and ministerial fellowship.

In December 2025, we expanded that vision by purchasing the Man Up Home, a home dedicated to helping men overcome obstacles, move forward, earn their trophies, and win in life. On that same day in December, we also closed on the Kingdom Hospitality House.

Through these efforts, lives are coming to Christ and being transformed, families are being strengthened, and individuals are discovering the reality and power of what is possible when faith in God, purpose and opportunity come together.

Expanding the Vision

In August 2026, God continued to expand the vision of Kingdom Christian Church with the acquisition of our second church campus in Kannapolis, North Carolina.

We were honored to celebrate the official tape-cutting ceremony for Kingdom Christian Church Kannapolis, marking another significant chapter in our history. By the grace of God, the leadership of our pastor, and through the faithful financial support of our members and partners, the Kannapolis campus was paid off in just 90 days.

Today, we celebrate the faithfulness of God and the commitment of the Kingdom Christian Church family. Both of our church campuses are debt free, along with additional facilities God has entrusted to us for ministry and community impact.

The Vision Continues

What began with a word from God, a Bible study in a lobby, and a first worship service in an elementary school has grown into a relevant, Spirit-filled ministry committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus, reaching people, developing disciples, raising leaders, and advancing the Kingdom of God.

We remain passionate about evangelism, discipleship, leadership, and godly morality. Our goal has never simply been to build buildings—it has been to build people.

As we look toward the future, we do so with the same faith that carried us from the beginning: trusting God, following His direction, serving His people, and continuing to promote the agenda of Jesus Christ. We are grateful for all that God has done, excited about what He is doing, and expectant for what lies ahead. There is much more vision on the horizon, and we look forward to the plans and purposes of God unfolding in the days ahead.

To God be the glory for what He has done, what He is doing, and all that He will continue to do through Kingdom Christian Church!

I love KCC because it is a ministry filled with love, integrity, and righteousness.
